About Our Program
Becoming a Delegate
Miss Mount Pleasant is an open preliminary competition in the Miss Iowa Scholarship Organization. To be eligible, you must be a woman who lives, works, or goes to school in the state of Iowa. The Miss age division is between the ages of 18-28 and the Teen division is ages 14-18.

About Our Competition
The Miss America Organization focuses on confidence, poise, and intelligence. To measure these qualities, we have phases of competition that aim to reflect the personality and smarts of our delegates.
Miss and Teen Delegates compete in Personal Interview, On-Stage Question, Fitness and Wellness, Talent, and Evening Gown.

Volunteering in the Program
Our non-profit organization relies entirely on volunteerism to thrive! Our board of directors, judges, sponsors, and more are all amazing people who donate their time and talents to our program.
